Our drypacks are filled with small beads made of a silicon dioxide compound. These absorb water from the surroundings – up to a certain volume – and thus prevent the Chunky Flavours from clumping. It has been proven (EU guidelines tested) to be harmless when in contact with food. However, they should not be consumed.
The drypacks are included in all new Chunky Flavour cans. Alternatively, you can also make your own "dry sachet" – with a tea filter and some uncooked rice. This will also absorb a certain amount of moisture.
* The concern that the sucralose contained in Chunky Flavour could become harmful when heated is based on laboratory conditions at 120°C.
